Im new to this so I dont know what monitor it is, case, or anything else.....explain how to find what it is and I can let you know if it helps to figure out my problems.....Thanx in advance

Company : Bally/Midway (Namco license)
Cabinet : Dedicated
Monitor : 19" vertical color raster
Year : 1981

Info
Spotted it on Craigslist locally for a good price with a non-working monitor. I was the first to respond so I snagged it. It had a Sanyo 20EZ (Nintendo) monitor in it. I didn't bother trouble shooting since I had a Happ Vision Pro in storage. I swapped that in and it works nicely.

Here's are disassemblies of the fixed 3 Wonders, Knights of the Round, King of Dragons and Punisher ROMs from my page (these are all I can find from my archives).

Search for ** to find my patches. In order to create patches for the Japanese versions, you have to make the same changes seen here to the Japanese version.

If you don't understand a change let me know and I'll have a peek to explain what it does.

If you do one and test it working, please send me the ROMs to post on my page for everyone else.

Thanks to James Greenhalgh, we have Tenchi Wo Kurau II (JP region Warriors Of Fate) now. I just updated the page with a link to the file. James didn't let me know the date of the set this works with but there's a good chance it works with any JP version (fingers crossed).

I could explain how to fix others but I don't have time to create the fixes myself. You need to be a little familiar with 68000 assembly language, but not an expert.

Thanks for that! I haven't coded in assembly since my college days but I am willing to give it try and hoping someone more well versed than I could take this on.

Looking for JP version fixes for these PCBs now:
Cadillacs
Captain Commando
King of Dragons
Knights of the Round
Quiz & Dragons

possibly Pang 3, need to check if it is using a battery but I believe it is

Thanks for all of the great work chronicling the sordid history of suicide batteries and their fixes!

Was wondering if you had JP version patches for games like Captain Commando, King of Dragons,, Knights of the Round and Warriors of Fate. Thanks in advance!

Does anybody recognize this Meadows board?  I dumped it and found it is not in MAME TM.  (ROM dump sent in already.)  One of the roms contained bowling terminology.

Looking a bit further in my filing cabinet I find that Meadows GYPSY JUGGLER used what looks like the same board as in your picture. Perhaps it was a late 3D using the same PCB as the slightly later GJ game...

Considering that Meadows appeared to go out of business in 1978, and this board was built in early 1978 (date codes on ICs) then I would think that this is a prototype board - perhaps 3D in a single board, or a revision thereof.

I had a prototype game from Meadows "Warp Speed" that we sold the only remaining one on eBay, it was dated early 1979 or late 78 as I recall...

I would suggest sending the board to a competent repair shop where they can power up the board and see what appears on the screen...
