1  General Category / Monitors / Kortek 19" hook up on: November 08, 2007, 08:22:03 AM
Hoping someone can help me.
It's been a long time since I replaced a monitor.
Usually always swapped out used ones which were wired the same way and I could just plug it in.
I have a new Kortek 19" to put in my Moon Patrol, and don't know much about wiring it.
It comes with a 6-pin wiring harness (red, green, blue, black, yellow, and white), and it doesn't match the color scheme in the game.
I know I should know this, and I used to, but I guess my brain is fried.
Can someone tell me how to wire this into the games harness.

The harness in the game has the normal 2-piece split connector that I see in most of my games.
6-pins in the one piece, and 3-pins in the smaller piece.

On the 6-pin connector I have:
Brown
Purple/Green
Purple/Blue
Black
*last 2 are brown/white jumpered together and then go to the other connector.

On the 3-pin connector I have:
(no pin)
White/Brown(one of the jumpered)
White/Brown(one of the jumpered) and Purple/White as well.

I don't want to burn anything up, can someone help me please.

Thanks,
Chris
